The Best Place To Find Kids' Shoes
That Fit For Any Foot Problem

Women’s Shoes

Let’s start with athletic footwear.  The shoes in this category I recommend most are Asics and New Balance.  These are the athletic shoes with the best and most versatile fit, and what’s great is they come in children’s sizes as well.

New Balance Women's Shoes

Rating: 9.0 out of 10 / This particular style has over 500 reviews

This is a great training shoe that has great flexibility and support. The molded  EVA midsole will provide you with great support to be on your feet all day since it will reduce friction. The shoe is made out of high quality leather making it the number one choice for a lot of women around the country.

Asics are ideal for women who enjoy running and working out. Their running shoes are top of the line since they provide maximum stability and support. The Asics Gel-Kayano has dominated the market as the number one choice for runners across the continent. Why are Asics so popular? The popularity is attributed to their commitment of producing high quality shoes. The brand improves as new styles are designed.

If fitted properly, this will be the most comfortable shoes you will ever worn. Keep in mind, if you have a really wide foot, please stay away from it and look into my New Balance review.

The Gel-Kayano 22 is one of the best running shoes in the market right now.

The winner for wide feet! Comfort! Comfort! Comfort!

If your feet are wide or extra wide, this IS your shoe. It comes in medium, wide, and extra wide widths.

Several women have told me how they love this style since it accommodates their wide feet. The style is characterized by good leverage, breath-ability, support and comfort especially when fast-tracking. The toe cap of the shoe has enough space that prevents itching or rubbing when one is in motion. The shoe is designed with a nice round toe box and it has a deep making it suitable for people with even the widest feet.

If you ask someone what the defining shoe is from New Balance, they will tell you that it is the 990, the all-American manufactured running shoe that has become iconic within the brands catalog.

Rating: 7.5 out of 10 ( Not available in wide widths)

This is a very stylish shoe made by New Balance. With that said, I would not recommend it for running.  It is the perfect casual shoes to walk around even for long distances, maybe running errands, but it does not provide the same support of the other shoes I review. If you plan on walking for half of the day and do not engage in physical activity this shoe will feet your needs.

Style: ASICS Women’s GEL-Noosa Tri 9 Running Shoe
Price: $59.95 – $199.95Asics-Women-Shoes

Rating: 8.9 out of 10 (Over 4,000 customer reviews)

I do not provide a 10 out of 10 rating for the simple fact that they do not come in different widths.

This is a perfect shoe for women who love working out. It is actually constructed for triathlon runners. The shoe provides maximum support and stability and it is also lightweight. Boldly delivering lightweight performance, the GEL-Noosa Tri has a seamless construction which allows your foot to breathe specially when running long distances!

This is another great running shoe made by Asics. This is the type of shoe for women’s or mom’s who are on their feet most of the day. The shoe has a very thick sole and a very firm heel counter which provides maximum ankle support.

10 Comments on Women’s Shoes

  1. Hello,

Very informative product review, My wife only buys new balances. She says they are the most comfortable sneakers she has ever worn. Perhaps the one thing that caught my attention the most were the outrageous prices that these sneakers sell for. It is maybe just me but spending 150-200 dollars on sneakers just does not seem right. However, you can not fault the company if people are willing to buy them at those prices. The sneaker market is a multi-billion dollar industry with a lot of competition. Best of luck.

    • Rob,

These shoes provide maximum support and stability that is one of the reasons for the higher price. These are both well made, great quality shoes that are ideal for a person who runs a lot or someone who is on his/her feet most of the day. They will also relieve some of the stress and pain we put in our lower back. Thank you for sharing your thoughts!

  2. Juan– Thank you for the information you provide on two well known brands of athletic shoes. While I’m not a woman, nor a runner anymore, I do have a daughter with that interest. I am curious why you limit your discussion to only two different shoes. Are there cheaper options with comparable quality to fit a more limited budget?

    • David,

I will definitely be adding other reviews of shoes that will be at a lower price. There are other shoes at different prices that will provide similar features. However, these two styles are ideal for a person who runs a lot or someone who is on his/her feet most of the day.

  3. Hi there,

Interesting and helpful article! I came across your site and I saw the shoes for women and it seems that this is what I was just looking for:) I walk a lot every day and I need a good pair of shoes. I personally like the looks of the New Balance 990 one, but I see there that the Gel-Kayano provides more support. Which one would you suggest please?

    Thank you

    • Daniella,

In terms of stability and support these two shoes are very similar. If you can provide me with more information such as if you have wide feet it will be easier for me to give you better feedback. If you have wide feet, I will definetely recommend the New Balance 990.

  4. As a soccer boot reviewer myself, I enjoy getting to know the shoes recommended when it comes to other sports.

Personally, some people get carried away when buying shoes because of the looks rather than comfort.

I like the options you provide where a person particularly with a wide feet should go for New Balance.

It sets a guidance and an idea what to get for someone without asking. Thank you for sharing, Juan.

    • The New Balance 990 is the winner for wide feet. One of the best fitting shoes I have fitted. Thank you for sharing!

  5. Hello there, nice review of shoes you got there. I’m a runner myself, that is the only exercise I know aside from going to the gym. I’m trying to influence my wife on running and I just bought her a pair of sketchers shoes. If I would have read your article before buying those I would probably consider buying the asics gel-kayano.

    • As long as you did your research before purchasing her a pair of shoes they should be fine. Sketchers makes good shoes but be aware that they do run in the narrow side. If she becomes an avid runner I will definitely recommend switching to one of the brands I describe.
