  1. Hello, my 15 month old has size 20 in european size. I will spend any amount of money on a good pair of shoes for narrow feet. Her ankle is also narrow so it’s difficult to get a food fit. I prefer European brands. Also, my son has high instep and wide feet and he’s a size 29 in Europe. Looking for fall leather, winter and summer. Thank you in advance.

    1. Hi Donna,

Thank you for reaching out! I know how challenging it can be to find the right shoes when one child has narrow feet and the other has wide feet with high insteps. To make sure I can give you the most accurate and helpful advice, I’d recommend emailing me directly at customerservice@fittingchildrenshoes.com

I’ll do my very best to provide you with specific shoe recommendations tailored to each of your children’s needs.

Just a quick note — I’m based in the United States, so my access to European shoe styles is somewhat limited. That said, I’ll still share the best guidance I can to point you in the right direction.

  2. Hello- I would like to know if you can recommend a high top tennis shoe for a toddler that is 4.5 yrs old and wears a size 9.5 / 10.
she recently sprained her ankle and will be starting school soon.. Want to make sure she will have the ankle support needed.
    Thank youi

    1. Hi Debbie,

Since you didn’t mention your daughter’s foot shape (narrow, medium, wide, or extra wide), I’ll assume she has a medium width for now. There are only a few supportive high-top shoes available in your daughter’s size range.

One model you might find helpful is the High-Top Shoe. That said, it’s worth keeping in mind that proper ankle support doesn’t always require a high-top design—the key feature to look for is a firm heel counter (the part that wraps around the back of the heel).

Here is another great option with excellent heel support:

      Option 1

And if you go with a lace-up style, I recommend trying this lacing method for extra ankle stability: How to Tie Shoes for Better Ankle Support. It makes a noticeable difference!

Hope this helps your daughter stay comfortable and supported.

  3. I wanted to ask for a recommendation please as I’m afraid we are short on time and may have to order online. I have a child with a 13XW foot. His preschool is asking for indoor shoes. Do you have any suggestions for something supportive. I thought about buying another pair of new balances, though they asked for something that can be easily slipped in and out of.

    1. Hi Lina,

If you are looking for something easy to get on and off, a Velcro shoe in an extra wide width could be a great option. If you are leaning towards a slip-on style, I recommend trying this sandal (as long as it meets the indoor shoe requirements). It features triple points of adjustability, making it super easy to put on and take off while ensuring a secure fit throughout the day.

  4. Hello,
I’m looking for water sandals for my daughter. She has wide, flat, and hypermobile feet. Her heel to toe length is 20 cm.

    1. Thanks for reaching out! I’d love to help you find the right sandals for your daughter. Could you please let me know which country you’re contacting me from? That way, I can recommend options that are available in your area.
