Narrow Boots for Kids – The Best Boots for Kids with Narrow Feet!

Are you having a hard time finding a pair of boots that fit the shape of your child’s narrow feet? Do you feel like you try on a whole bunch of different boots but you always end up empty-handed? Finding a pair of narrow boots for kids can be a frustrating and time-consuming experience and you will end up empty-handed if you don’t know what brands and styles to look for.
Unfortunately, there is a small selection of boots that will work for children with narrow feet, but the good news is that I have fitted these boots before so I will be able to help you find them. In addition to fitting your child’s narrow feet, the boots I recommend are functional boots, meaning that they will be waterproof and provide a supportive rubber outsole so your child can walk around comfortably.
Parents are always complaining about how hard it is to find shoes for their kids with wide or extra wide feet, but those parents don’t know that it is even harder to find shoes for children with narrow feet.

Why Shoe Companies Don’t Manufacture Children’s Shoes in Narrow Widths (N)?
One common question parents tend to ask me is: Why are there no shoe styles available in narrow widths? Quite simply because shoe companies believe that there isn’t enough demand for it. The cost of mass-produced shoes is kept low by producing only the most common styles (medium width). The fewer variations there are, the less the production costs for shoe companies. So, for kids with narrow feet like yours, it gets harder to find shoes that fit.
Most parents fail to notice that their kids have narrow feet. You should pay close attention to the way your children walk and run to determine how comfortable they are with their shoes. If you notice that they are walking or running funny it might be a sign that they are uncomfortable with the shoes they are wearing.

What Makes the Boots that I Recommend Effective for Narrow Feet?
The boots that I recommend provide 3 key features that make them ideal for children with narrow feet:
1️⃣ Narrow Heel Counter
Do you notice how the boot on the right has a narrower heel counter compared to the boot on the left?

2️⃣ Narrow Toe-Box
This feature helps accommodate the overall shape of your child’s narrow feet. Do you notice how the boot on the right has a narrower toe-box compared to the boot on the left?

3️⃣ Narrow Platforms
The boots that I recommend provide narrower platforms to help accommodate the overall shape of your child’s narrow feet.

How to Order the Correct Shoe Size Online – Get it Right!
I am always emphasizing to parents that it doesn’t matter how many features a particular shoe style provides, if the shoes are not fitted properly which involves getting the correct shoe length and the correct shoe width, your child won’t get any of the benefits that the shoes have to offer.
I always recommend parents take their children to their local children’s shoe store that they trust, the issue is that most stores have been closing down and parents need to end up buying their kids’ shoes online. There is nothing wrong with this, but you must know your child’s exact foot size to know what size to order.
I created a resource that showcases the best fitting children’s shoe stores by state.
How to Retrieve Your Child’s Exact Foot Length and Shape
If after looking at that resource you still can’t seem to identify a shoe store in your area, then proceed to take a look at an article I created that describes the simplest, yet most effective way to figure out your child’s foot size from home.
I only write reviews of shoe styles that I have fitted before, otherwise, I wouldn’t know how well-made they are, the amount of support that they provide, and how they fit.
