The Best Crocs for Kids Reviewed – New Style Released!

Crocs recently released a new style for kids that is a lot more versatile than any other of the previous styles. By versatile, I mean that children can wear this Crocs style for longer periods of time and different activities.

I always advise parents on why they should never let their children run when wearing Crocs, as they don’t provide any support or stability at all. The good news is that things have changed since this new style got released.

Crocs came up with a summer shoe that provides a more secure “stay-on” fit to keep up with your busy kids. This style has become really popular as parents love how versatile and affordable it is. If you have read any of my previous articles, you should know by now that I only recommend children’s shoes that are well made, supportive, and durable.

Most parents want to avoid the traditional Crocs because they notice how when kids are running  or playing they slip  off their feet. The fact that these form snugly around your child’s feet is brilliant. No danger of them tripping up!

What Makes the New Crocs Style Safer for Kids?

Let me show you what makes this Crocs style better than all of the previous ones:

1️⃣ Better Stability: The hook and loop closure around the instep hugs your kids’ feet and allows them to feel more stable when walking or running.

2️⃣ Substantial Outsole: The thick, supportive, yet lightweight outsole supports your kids’ feet and minimizes the impact that the feet take when they become in contact with the ground.

I will expand on these features shortly.

Parents love how affordable this new Crocs style is — it retails for ($24.42) how easy it is to clean  —most parents use a water hose when children bring this sandal back from the beach — and how it is supportive but lightweight and flexible at the same time.

Keep in mind that this Crocs style only fits children with medium or wide feet, and it won’t fit children with extra wide feet.

I have always been hesitant to recommend Crocs, as I always felt that they didn’t provide the correct amount of support and stability. I am happy to finally be able to recommend a shoe style made by Crocs that is versatile and will help keep your kids’ feet and legs healthy.

One of the features that parents and children love the most about Crocs is how easy they are for kids to put on and take off. Parents love the independence that Crocs provide to their kids, and kids love how comfortable the shoes are.

Furthermore, parents used  to provide their children with a pair of summer sandals such as Keen, Teva, or Jambu, in addition to their Crocs. But now, this new Crocs style can become your kids’ main summer shoes and you won’t need to invest in an additional pair.

What Makes This New Crocs Style More Supportive?

1️⃣ The main difference between this Crocs style and the previous ones is that this style comes with a hook and loop closure that makes it easy to get on and off, and you can fine-tune the fit more than the previous Crocs styles. The hook and loop closure also helps keep the child’s feet in place and allows children to feel more stable when walking or running around.

2️⃣ This Crocs style also provides excellent cushion as it comes with a substantial outsole, which makes them a lot more comfortable than any other Crocs style.

3️⃣ The third feature that this new Crocs style provides is a secure strap on the back that helps keep the child’s heels secure and prevents them from moving up and down. This feature also helps prevent your child from getting blisters.

Several families have told me how pleased they are with this new Crocs style. If you want a summer shoe that is lightweight, supportive, and robust at the same this is the summer shoe for your child. This is the perfect style to play out in the garden with and then use for your beach/pool holiday.

Should Children Wear Crocs or Not? – Let’s Find Out!

Parents are always asking me whether children should wear Crocs or not. I always tell them that Crocs are fine as long as the child wears them for very short periods of time and don’t run in them.

The great thing about this new style is that children can wear it for longer periods of time and be active and play in them. Before I show you this style, I want to make sure that you know how to provide your child with the correct shoe size. Most parents are buying their kids’ shoes online, since most fitting children’s shoe stores have been closing down.

How to Retrieve Your Child’s Exact Foot Length and Shape

Take a look at an article I created that describes the simplest, yet most effective way to figure out your child’s foot size from home.

If you don’t provide your kids with the correct shoe size, they won’t get any of the benefits that the shoes have to offer, that is the reason why I want to make sure you know how to provide your children with the correct shoe size.

Now that you know how to provide your child with the correct shoe size and what features this new Crocs style provides, let’s take a look at the best Crocs for kids. Disclosure: Some links in this post may be affiliate links and we may receive a small commission (at no extra cost to you) when you click our links and make purchases.

The Best Crocs for Kids Reviewed

One of the columns below describes the most supportive version of the Crocs and the other column describes the traditional version of the Crocs.

This Crocs style fits children with medium or wide feet only, but keep in mind that it won’t fit the shape of children with extra wide feet.

Keep in mind that Crocs don’t come in half sizes, so if your child measures a foot size 9, then I recommend that you provide your child with a shoe size 10.

Take advantage of how versatile and affordable this new Crocs style is!

If you rather provided your child with a traditional pair of Crocs I suggest that you take a look at a different resource I created.
