Have you been looking for a pair of shoe horns? I have been working for a children’s shoe store for the last 10 years and I have gotten familiar with the best shoe horns for children and adults.

Are you the type of person who has a hard time bending over to put shoes on? Are you likely to experience from a backache while bending over? Any person who suffers from low back pain and has a hard time bending over should consider getting a shoe horn.

A shoe horn will make your life so much easier! But shoe horns are not just for people who have a hard time bending over, they are also important for athletes (both kids or adults) who engage in regular physical activity or sports and must keep their shoes in the best shape possible.

Shoe horns are extremely useful for elderly people, pregnant women, people with special needs and tall people. Shoe horns do not only prevent back problems but they also help maintain the shape and support of the shoes.

The stiffness of the heel counter —this is where we get our ankle support— and the whole structure of shoes are thus maintained through this product. There are a variety of shoe horns that come in different shapes and sizes. Let’s take a look at some of the most popular shoe horns that provide the best quality.

Have you noticed how most children don’t undo their velcro straps or shoelaces when they take their shoes off? At the shoe store that I work for I always explain to parents and their children that failing to take their shoes off properly will make the shoes wear down faster. It will make the shoes softer and less supportive.

It is important for your children to take their shoes off properly, and sometimes a shoe horn can prevent your children from yanking their shoes off and developing this bad habit.

I am actually guilty of slipping my shoes on halfway and stepping on the heels when I have to run outside real quick then back in. I’m thinking if I have a shoe horn at the door it would make it easier for me to put my shoes on correctly while I run out. Do they make something on them to hang them on the wall by the Door?

    Thanks
    Melissa

    • Melissa,

I don’t believe they make something to hang them by the door. The way you are putting your shoes on, is what I emphasize children at the shoe store I work for NOT TO DO! By slipping your shoes halfway you are softening the heel counter of the shoe, which means that it doesn’t matter how supportive the shoe is, the heel counter will get softer and softer until there is no support.
