White Shoes for Kids – The Best All WHITE Back to School Shoes for Children!

white-shoes-for-kids

There are certain schools that require an all white shoe for your child to wear as part of their uniform code, and an all white shoe is not easy to find. If your child happens to have a foot condition or a complicated foot shape such as narrow, wide, or extra wide feet, it can be even harder to find shoes that fit.

I have been working for a specialized children’s shoe store for the last 10 years. We focus on children with foot and leg problems, but we provide regular shoe fittings as well. It’s important for us to carry top quality shoes that are available in different widths, since that’s the only way we can guarantee to fit every single child.

I am familiar with which are the best shoe brands and the best shoe styles among those brands from actually having fitted and tested the shoes in different children’s feet.

Your kids school shoes need to be supportive, lightweight, flexible, and durable. Keep in mind that your child will be running around at recess and if the shoes are not supportive and durable, they will start wearing down faster. Supportive shoes also minimize the impact that your kids’ feet and legs take every time they come in contact with the ground.

The shoes I describe below are all made out of leather and available in different widths such as medium, wide, and extra wide and they also provide good support, are lightweight, flexible, breathable, and durable. These shoe styles have been mostly designed to be worn as part of a school uniform, but they can also be worn for play time.

I only write reviews of shoes that I have fitted before, since that is the only way for me to tell how well-made the shoes, the amount of support that they provide, and how they fit.

In order to allow for growing room, I highly recommend that parents order these shoes a half a size larger than the size their children’s feet measure. This translates to 0.3 inches or 0.7 centimeters of space between your child’s longest toe and the end of the shoes.

Did you know that your child won’t get any of the benefits that the shoes have to offer if you don’t provide him with the correct shoe size? I am always emphasizing to parents to take their kids to their local children’s shoe store, where a shoe fitter can properly measure their feet and find shoes that proper fit the shape of their feet.

Are you 100% Sure that Your Child is Wearing the Correct Shoe Size?

I created a map that showcases the best fitting children’s shoe stores by state, so I suggest you start by taking a look at that map:

If after looking at that map you still can’t seem to identify a shoe store in your area, then proceed to taking a look at an article I created that describes the simplest, yet most effective way to figure out your child’s foot size from home:

In that article I help parents determine their child’s exact foot size and whether the child has narrowmediumwide, or extra wide feet. I also will be able to tell you whether your child has a high instep or not.
