Easy to Put On Baby Shoes – STOP Struggling to Put Your Baby’s Shoes On!

Do you always have a hard time putting your baby’s shoes on? Are you always struggling and feel like you need to shove the shoes on and even then, you are not completely sure that they are fitting correctly? I have been contacted by several parents who explain to me how frustrating it is having to waste so much time putting their babies’ shoes on.

There might be two reasons why you are struggling to put the shoes on:

1️⃣ The shoes are not wide enough: Most babies have wide or extra wide feet, and if you fit them in a pair of shoes that are too narrow you will have a hard time getting the shoes on. There are several baby shoes available in wide and extra wide widths, but some of them are deeper and come with rounder toe-boxes which makes the whole process of getting your baby’s shoes on much easier.

2️⃣ The shoes don’t open up widely: It’s important to find shoes that allow you to open them up widely to be able to easily slide your baby’s feet inside the shoes.

There is a particular shoe style that has proven to be the easiest to put on a baby’s foot, as it comes with a zipper that allows you to open up the shoe widely and I will show you this shoe shortly. Let me show you what I mean:

This shoe style that I have fitted before will practically slide on your baby’s feet and that is why it’s loved by many parents. Do you notice how nice and wide the shoes open? This will allow you to put on your babies’ shoes without having to waste time and struggle every time.

Other several features make this shoe style one of the best shoes for a baby that is learning how to walk, and I will describe them shortly.

The main issue with this particular shoe style is that it will not fit a baby with extra wide feet. I have other shoe styles in mind that I have fitted before for babies with extra wide feet and I will show them to you as well.

Before I show you a selection of the easiest baby shoes, let’s take a look at what features these shoe styles will provide to your baby’s feet and how you can make sure that you provide your baby with the correct shoe size.

What Features Will This Shoe Style Provide? – Let’s Find Out!

The shoes I describe below offer the following features:

1️⃣ Comfort: The round toe-box allows your baby’s toes to move and grow freely. Did you know that when babies wiggle their toes that is their natural way of exercising their feet? This leads to healthy foot development. The shoes are also extremely lightweight ensuring a barefoot feeling and allowing your baby to feel the ground when walking.

2️⃣ Flexibility: The thin moldable rubber outsoles allow your baby for natural movement but are solid enough to protect the feet and prevent slipping.

3️⃣ Breathability: Did you know that baby’s feet sweat approx. 2-3 times more than an adult’s foot? These shoe styles let air in and allow moisture out, helping your baby’s feet stay dry, cool and healthy.

4️⃣ Hand made: These shoe styles are made in Europe and handcrafted from high-quality breathable material.

What several parents agree on is how these baby shoes really have a unique design that is different from everything else they have seen before. This shoe style will not only save you time and avoid frustrations, but it will also keep your babies’ feet healthy at the same time.

But…

It doesn’t matter how many features a particular shoe style provides, if the shoes are not fitted properly, your child won’t get any of the benefits that the shoes have to offer. What’s even worse, you will end up creating all sorts of foot issues for your baby’s feet such as blisters, calluses, and corns.

I always advise parents that they must take their kids to their local children’s shoe store, where a shoe fitter can properly measure their feet and find shoes accordingly. However, I get contacted by parents daily explaining to me how they don’t have a local kids’ shoe store in their area and must get their kids’ shoes online.

How to Retrieve Your Child’s Exact Foot Length and Shape

If you are one of those parents start by reading an article I wrote where I describe the simplest, yet most effective way to figure out your child’s foot size from home.

In that article I help parents determine their child’s exact foot size and whether the child has narrow, medium, wide, or extra wide feet. I also will be able to tell you whether your child has a high instep or not.

Now that you know what features a good baby shoe must provide and how to make sure that your baby is wearing the correct shoe size, let’s take a look at the best shoe style for parents who always struggle to put their babies’ shoes on.

Keep in mind that I only review shoes that I have fitted before, as that is the only way for me to tell the amount of support that the shoes provide, how well-made they are, and how they fit.

The shoe style that I describe below fits babies with medium or wide feet only. It’s important to understand that this shoe style won’t fit a baby with extra wide feet. If your baby happens to have extra wide feet please refer to a different article I created.

The Best Socks for Babies – Seamless and Breathable!

Before you leave I want you to keep in mind that socks play a key role in keeping your baby’s feet healthy. They act as a barrier between your babies’ feet and the shoes, and prevent the buildup of bacteria inside the shoes as well as the formation of blisters.

Certain types of socks are seamless and these kinds of socks are the ones most recommended for babies and toddlers, as they don’t constrict toe movement. Remember that babies move their toes as a way of exercising their feet.

Don’t provide your babies with gripper socks when they are wearing shoes, as the grippers will stick to the bottom of the sole of the shoe and prevent your baby’s toes from moving freely. Gripper socks are great for a baby that is walking at home without shoes, but your baby should never wear gripper socks when wearing shoes.

I have put together a selection of the best seamless and breathable socks for babies:

Now that you know which are the easiest shoes to put on a baby and the key role that socks play in keeping your baby’s feet healthy, you are ready to make a better and well-informed decision.

If you need any other type of shoes such as everyday, summer, winter, or sport shoes, you can find them all in a tool that I created which lets you filter by the type of shoes that you need. This tool is extremely valuable since it will show you shoes in different widths such as narrow, medium, wide, and extra wide. I also tell you exactly how each shoe style is cut (short, long, narrow, or wide) and will let you filter by the instep of your child’s foot. You can even find shoes that will accommodate an orthotic.
