Easy to Put On Baby Shoes – STOP Struggling to Put Your Baby’s Shoes On!

Do you always have a hard time getting your baby’s shoes on and off? Are you looking for a pair of easy to put on baby shoes that open up nice and wide? I have been contacted by several parents who explain to me how frustrating it is to waste so much time putting their babies’ shoes on. There might be two reasons why you are struggling to put the shoes on:

1️⃣ The shoes are not wide enough: Most babies have wide or extra wide feet, and if you fit them in a pair of shoes that are too narrow you will have a hard time getting the shoes on and off. There are several baby shoes available in wide and extra wide widths, but some of them are deeper and come with rounder toe-boxes which makes the whole process of getting your baby’s shoes on much easier.

2️⃣ The shoes don’t open up widely: It’s important to find shoes that allow you to open them up widely to be able to easily slide your baby’s feet inside the shoes. Some baby shoes have multiple velcro straps or zippers on the side that help open up the shoe widely and I will show you these shoes shortly.

4 Important Features Your Baby’s Shoes Must Provide

1️⃣ Comfort: Shoes with round toe-boxes allow the baby’s toes to move and grow freely. Did you know that when babies wiggle their toes that is their natural way of exercising their feet? This leads to healthy foot development. The shoes I recommend are also extremely lightweight ensuring a barefoot feeling.

2️⃣ Flexibility: The thin moldable rubber outsoles allow your baby for natural movement but are solid enough to protect the feet and prevent slipping.

3️⃣ Breathability: Did you know that baby’s feet sweat approx. 2-3 times more than an adult’s foot? These shoes let air in and allow moisture out, helping your baby’s feet stay dry, cool and healthy.

4️⃣ Hand made: These shoe styles are made in Europe and handcrafted from high-quality breathable material.

How to Retrieve Your Baby’s Exact Foot Length and Shape

Parents should take their kids to their local children’s shoe store, where a shoe fitter can properly measure their feet and find shoes accordingly. However, I get contacted by parents daily explaining to me how they don’t have a local kids’ shoe store in their area and must get their kids’ shoes online. If you are one of those parents start by reading an article I wrote where I describe the simplest, yet most effective way to figure out your child’s foot size from home.

In that article I help parents determine their baby’s exact foot size and whether the child has narrow, medium, wide, or extra wide feet. I also will be able to tell you whether your baby has a high instep or not.

The Best Socks for Babies – Seamless and Breathable!

Before you leave I want you to keep in mind that socks play a key role in keeping your baby’s feet healthy. They act as a barrier between your babies’ feet and the shoes, and prevent the buildup of bacteria inside the shoes as well as the formation of blisters.

Certain types of socks are seamless and these kinds of socks are the ones most recommended for babies and toddlers, as they don’t constrict toe movement. Remember that babies move their toes as a way of exercising their feet.

Don’t provide your babies with gripper socks when they are wearing shoes, as the grippers will stick to the bottom of the sole of the shoe and prevent your baby’s toes from moving freely. Gripper socks are great for a baby who is walking at home without shoes, but your baby should never wear gripper socks when wearing shoes.

Now that you know which are the easiest shoes to put on a baby and the key role that socks play in keeping your baby’s feet healthy, you are ready to make a better and well-informed decision.
