During the summer time is when children develop most foot issues. Some of these issues involve blisters, calluses, and corns (these last ones are really hard to get rid of). The main reason why this issues develop is that when your kids’ feet get wet, the skin softens and if your child is not wearing sandals that are made form soft materials, your child might easily develop a blister.
Parents who want to invest in a pair of leather sandals might want to do it for two main reasons:

The main advantage of providing your child with a pair of leather sandals is that you will keep his feet healthy and get a better overall fit. The leather material will feel soft and mold to the shape of your kids’ feet while synthetic shoes often feel hard against your kids’ feet.
Let’s take a look at what features the leather sandals I will describe below will provide to your boy’s feet:
❤️ Support: These sandals will come with a substantial sole to minimize the impact that your kids’ feet and legs take every time they come in contact with the ground. This feature will allow your child to be able to wear the sandals for longer periods of time.
❤️ Lightweight/Flexible: It’s important for the sandals to be lightweight and flexible in order to prevent your child’s feet and legs from easily getting tired.
❤️ Durable: Did you know that leather sandals are the most durable kind of sandals? During summer times children love to run around and it’s important for the footwear to hold up until the season is over or when the child has outgrown the shoes.
❤️ Comfort: Leather sandals are not only fashionable, but they also provide a better fit offering better comfort to your kids’ feet. They are also very cushiony and comfortable on the inside, and they provide better support for the growth of the feet.
❤️ Easy To Clean: Leather sandals are easy to maintain and clean. Sandals made out of leather also prevent bacteria from building up inside your kids’ sandals.
I am always emphasizing to parents that it doesn’t matter how many features a particular shoe style provides, if the shoes are not fitted properly which involves getting the correct shoe length and the correct shoe width, your child won’t get any of the benefits that the shoes have to offer.
I always recommend parents to take their children to their local children’s shoe storethat they trust, the issue is that most stores have been closing down and parents need to end up buying their kids’ shoes online. There is nothing wrong with this, but you must know your child’s exact foot size in order to know what size to order.
