Fitting Children's Shoes

If you provide your child with a pair of football cleats that are too narrow, your child might end up developing all sorts of foot issues such as blisters, calluses, and corns. There is a small selection of wide footballs cleats for kids, but the good news is that I will help you find them. In addition to being available in wide widths, these football cleats provide extra depth and come with a round toe-box, which helps prevent your kids’ toes from rubbing against each other or the side of the shoes.

The outsole of these football cleats provide exclusive protection from any kind of shock or foot injury. If your child happens to fall while playing football, these cleats are designed to disperse the impact on their feet thus protecting the feet or toes from fracture or serious injury.

When children are playing football, they are putting extra pressure on their feet and knees by running faster and sliding. If they are not wearing the correct pair of cleats, this increased impact may not only end up not only hurting their feet, but also make your child more prone to injuries.

Have you tried a particular football style that has worked well for your child with wide or extra wide feet? Please share your findings below so other parents can benefit from them.

    1. Hello Evelyn,

Unfortunately, there is no shoe company that manufactures a football cleat in extra wide widths. However, you can ask your coach if your child can wear soccer cleats in the field, as there is a soccer cleat that is available in extra wide widths:
