Superfeet inserts are extra insoles that fit inside the shoes (you remove the one that comes with the shoe) to provide children with more support in their shoes. The great thing about them is that they are sort of an orthotic, but that fits in most shoes.
When you buy an orthotic for your child, you need to buy specific shoes to fit the orthotic since the orthotic takes so much space, but superfeet inserts fit in most shoes such as boots, cleats, and mary jeans!

The price values for these boots are definitely a lot less than the Ugg, I have a been a hardcore Ugg advocate for a long time. But, I must say, you have convinced me to try out the Emu’s! If you are worried about your kids balance, you should stay away from Ugg and Emu boots. There are other type of boots that are waterproof and will provide more support and stability. This is a great post and you do give a lot of details. I am an Australian and my first thought was that there is nothing better than Ugg Boots but you have convinced me that Emu Boots are best for kids. I have never heard of them before. I do like the idea of removable insoles and being able to put different insoles into them. Kids growing feet do need good support and fit and Emu Boots seem to meet that need. Much as I love my Uggies I can see the benefit of Emu Boots for kids.
