One common question parents tend to ask me is: Why are there no boots available in narrow widths? Quite simply because shoe companies believe that there isn’t enough demand for it. The cost of mass-produced shoes is kept low by producing only the most common styles (medium width). The fewer variations there are, the lower the production costs for shoe companies. So, for kids with narrow feet like yours, it gets harder to find shoes that fit.

These are the narrowest boots that I have fitted before, and I am not sure that there is another boot style on the market that is going to fit the shape of your child’s narrow feet better. With that said, there is a particular method that you can try that is going to help make the boots fit and feel better.

Have you ever heard of tongue pads? They are adhesive-backed pads that if placed correctly on the tongue of the shoes will push the child’s heels back and secure them against the back of the boots. This helps fill any remaining gaps inside the boots and prevents heel slippage.
