How to Check If Your Kids Have Narrow Feet or Not? – 2 Simple Steps!

If you are not 100% sure whether your child has narrow feet or not, there is a simple way you can follow and check from home.

1️⃣ With your child’s shoes on check if there is too much extra space around your child’s heels. There should be a certain amount of space in which you can comfortably slide your finger around your kids’ heels. 2️⃣ Pinch the front part of your kids’ shoes and check if there is too much extra shoe material. Take a look at the image below for clarification:

There shouldn’t be all that extra shoe material in the front of your kids’ shoes, and this is another sign that your child might have narrow feet.

Have you noticed blisters on the back of your child’s heels? When children have narrow feet, their shoes tend to move too much around the heel area, and that constant movement and friction usually lead to the formation of blisters. If you provide your child shoes that are too wide, you might end up creating all sorts of issues with their feet such as blisters, calluses, and corns.
