I have been working for a specialized children’s shoe store for over 10 years now that focuses in children with foot and leg problems, but we provide regular shoe fittings as well. Over the years I became familiar with the best soccer cleats for kids.
One of the most common mistakes that I see parents make is to provide their children with soccer cleats that are too narrow. Playing soccer in a cleat that is too narrow can lead to several foot issues such as blisters, calluses, corns, ingrown toenails as well as foot and leg pain.
The soccer cleats I recommend below are capable of fitting children with medium, wide, or extra wide feet. Disclosure: Keep in mind that we may receive commissions when you click our links and make purchases.

These cleats provide excellent traction and come with a firm heel counter to protect and support your kids’ ankles. Another awesome feature of these soccer cleats is how they are lightweight and flexible, to prevent your kids’ feet and legs from easily getting tired.

What about for kids who have wide feet and have an orthotic? how do you “measure” that?
Hello Monica,
I am not sure what do you mean when you mention “measure” that. If your child needs to wear an orthotic with his/her soccer cleats, you need to remove the inner sole and then place the orthotic inside the cleats. However, not all orthotics will fit inside a soccer cleat. The particular style that I recommend is capable of fitting certain orthotics, since it’s wide and provides extra depth. Were you planning on fitting an orthotic inside your kids’ soccer cleats?
Hi. My son has wide feet and I am trying to find soccer cleats for him. His L foot is 22.5cm and his R foot is 23 cm. I am not sure how to send you photos.
