Do you have a child that likes to play soccer and is experiencing foot and leg pain? Did you know that there a is a particular type of insole that works great not just in soccer cleats but in most sport shoes as well?
When children are playing soccer they are stressing out their feet and legs at a whole different level, and they are putting pressure in parts of their bodies where they are not supposed to. There is a lot of sudden stops in soccer as well as quick direction movement change. Your children need to wear a pair of supportive insoles in order to reduce the impact that their feet take every time they come in contact with the ground.
The issue is that most soccer cleats insoles are super thin and they don’t provide any support and they don’t absorb shock. The good news is that I have fitted a particular insole made by Superfeet that is designed to absorb impact, it’s durable, comes with antibacterial properties and I will help you find it!
This insole comes with a built-in-arch, something you won’t find in any pair of soccer cleats, and they also come with a heel cup for heel support.
I have been working for a specialized children’s shoe store for over 10 years now, and I know everything that relates to children’s shoes and the way they FIT. This is a specialized shoe store that focuses on children with foot and leg problems, but we provide regular shoe fittings as well. We carry some of the most supportive children’s shoes and orthotics, and I am familiar with which shoe brands and which shoe styles are better than others.
This insole has proven to be the most effective one when it comes to reducing or fully eliminating kids’ foot and leg pain.
Let me show you the 3 most important features that this insole will provide to your child’s feet:
- Bio-Mechanical Shape: This insole will provide biomechanical support under your kids’ foot. It comes with a built-in-arch that will provide shock absorption to reduce the impact that your kids’ feet take when they are running or jumping.
- Heel Cup: This feature will help position the heel to naturally absorb impact. This is the part of the insole that provides ankle support.
- Organic Odor-Control Coating: All natural coating that will prevent bacteria from building up inside your kids’ shoes.
This insole will play a key role in realigning your child’s body posture as well as strengthening your child’s muscles. They reduce or eliminate common foot pain, arch pain, heel pain and plantar fasciitis.
Superfeet insoles are affordable (since children’s feet are constantly growing) and offer professional-grade orthotic support, performance and comfort. One of the greatest advantages of these insoles is that they fit the contour of the foot the best and are the most durable ones I have found on the market.
Please keep in mind that this insole will be most effective if your chid is wearing the correct pair of soccer cleats. I will show you this blue Superfeet insole below, but I also want to show you a selection of the best soccer cleats for children in terms of comfort and support.
The Best Insoles for Soccer Cleats ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Please keep in mind that I only write reviews of insoles and shoe styles that I have fitted before, otherwise I wouldn’t know how well-made they are, the amount of support that they provide, and how they fit.
This insole has proven to be the most effective one when it comes to children who play sports and experience foot and leg pain. If your children have been experiencing arch, heel, knee, or leg pain during their soccer games, it’s time to provide them with relief and allow them to focus on the game and not their feet hurting.i
Please remember that during soccer there is a lot of stress and strain exerted on the foot’s muscles, tendons, ligaments, and bones. Your child is especially vulnerable to foot/leg pain and injuries due to wearing cleats that lack arch and heel support. This insole will not only provide extra cushioned shock absorption and protection from the studded cleats, but they also provide a proper orthotic arch support for a solid foundation from the feet through the entire skeletal structure.

Another great advantage of this insoles is how it comes with antibacterial properties, to prevent the formation of bacteria from building inside your kids’ cleats.
If your children need extra support in their everyday pair of shoes, they can keep switching this insole back and forth from their cleats to their regular sneakers. Parents love how they can easily switch the insole from one pair of shoes to another, that way they don’t have to purchase more than one pair.
If your child happens to wear a shoe size smaller than 11.5, please contact me directly and I will help you find an insole that comes in his/her size: email@example.com
Which Soccer Cleats will Work with This Insole? – Let’s Find Out!
This insole will fit in most soccer cleats. Please make sure that you alway remove the inner sole of the cleats before placing the Superfeet insole. If you leave the original insole inside the shoes then you will raise your kids’ feet up too much, and your child will get the impression that his/her feet are coming out of the shoes.
There are certain soccer cleats that can make your kids’ condition worse, and I want you to keep a close eye on this because the cleats might be the ones causing your child’s foot and leg pain. These are the main problems with cleated shoes that don’t provide good support:
- Little or no arch support.
- Thin factory footbed that provides little protection from feeling the cleat studs. This can lead to your child getting blisters and calluses.
- No cushioning throughout the footbed for shock absorption from impact, weight, and movement.
In order for your children to get the full benefits that the insole has to offer, you need to make sure that the soccer cleats that your child is wearing provide the following 3 important features:
- Ankle Support: The soccer cleats must come with a firm heel counter to minimize the impact that your kids’ ankles take every time they come in contact with the ground. Do me a favor and check if your kids’ soccer cleats have a firm or soft heel counter. If your child’s soccer cleats have a soft heel counter, you will defeat the whole purpose of the insoles.
- Lightweight and Flexible: This feature will prevent your child’s feet and legs from easily getting tired.
- Substantial sole: This feature will provide cushioning and comfort. The cleats must provide a substantial sole in order to hold the Superfeet insole in place.
If you happen to need a pair of soccer cleats for your child, I will describe one of the most supportive styles that will fit a child with medium, wide, or extra wide feet.

This shoe style fits “true to size”, which means that you only need to provide your children with a half a size longer of the size that they measured in the standard foot measuring scale (Brannock device), in order to allow for growing room.
How to Fit Superfeet Insoles In Your Kids’ Cleats? – Get It Right!
You will use the original insoles of your child’s shoes to make sure that the Superfeet insoles match that same length.
1- The first thing you need to do is remove the original shoe insole from your kids’ shoes.
2- Turn both the original insole and the Superfeet insole face down. Place the original insole on top of the Superfeet insole:
a) line up both the backs of the heel and
b) the inside edges, and then
c) use a pen to trace the outline onto the Superfeet.
3- TRIM. Cut along the OUTSIDE of the trace line, that way if it is still too long, you will be able to trim it a little more.
4- Insert & Test. Put the trimmed Superfeet into the shoe.
Superfeet insoles are high quality and will last your children a long time (they usually wear them anywhere from 6 to 12 months). This means that they will be able to wear them in their current shoes as well as their next pair of shoes.
Now that you know which are the best insoles for soccer cleats and which soccer cleats offer the most support, you are ready to make a most informed decision.
